{"id":84632,"date":"2021-02-23T17:46:19","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T12:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=84632"},"modified":"2021-03-01T13:18:12","modified_gmt":"2021-03-01T07:48:12","slug":"transport-minister-launches-go-electric-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/transport-minister-launches-go-electric-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Transport Minister launches \u2018Go Electric Campaign&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What is the News?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Union Minister for Road Transport &amp; Highways launches the \u201cGo Electric\u201d Campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Go Electric Campaign:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a campaign of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) to promote and spread awareness on electric mobility.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objectives:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It will boost the confidence of electric vehicle manufacturers.<\/li>\n<li>Furthermore, it will spread awareness about the benefits of e-mobility and EV Charging Infrastructure in India.<\/li>\n<li>Lastly, the\u00a0<strong>Go Electric Campaign<\/strong> will help in reducing the import dependence of our country in the coming years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation: <\/strong>BEE will provide technical support to the State Designated Agencies(SDAs) for its implementation on a state and national level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a statutory body.
