A\nspecial purpose vehicle is an entity which is formed for a single, well-defined\nand narrow purpose. An SPV can be formed for any lawful purpose.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Sabarimala master plan envisages a)\nInfrastructure Development, b)&nbsp;Ecological Sustainability and c)&nbsp;Pilgrim\nfacilities. It encompasses objectives of planned overall development of a) Sannidhanam\narea, the abode of Lord Ayyappa on the mountain top, b) &nbsp;Pampa \u2013 the river front and the Pampa area, c)\nTrekking paths to the hill top, d) base camp facilities at Nilakkal, e) feeder\ntowns\/places like Erumeli, Pathanamthitta, Vandiperiyar etc. and e) the\napproach roads to Sabarimala<\/li><li>The SPV would be a no-profit company. It would\nuse the budgetary allocation and funds allotted by the Kerala Infrastructure\nInvestment Fund Board (KIIFB) to complete the development activities at\nSabarimala in a time-bound manner.<\/li><li>The SPV would have a governing body chaired by\nthe Chief Secretary, with Secretaries of various stakeholder departments as\nmembers. The Commissioner of Travancore Devaswom Board will be the convenor.<\/li><li>The Sabarimala temple is a Hindu temple dedicated\nto Lord Ayyappa. It is situated on a hilltop named Sabarimala in Pathanamthitta\ndistrict, Kerala. In 2018, the Supreme Court ruled that women, irrespective of\nage, can enter Kerala\u2019s Sabarimala temple.
