S. Khaparde and Annie Besant.<ul><li>Tilak\u2019s Home Rule League worked in Maharashtra, Central Provinces and Karnataka and Berar region.Besant&#8217;s League was active in the rest of India.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Newspapers: <\/strong>Kesari (Marathi) and Mahratta (English)<\/li><li><strong>Books: <\/strong>Shrimadh Bhagvad Gita Rahasya and Arctic Home of the Vedas.<\/li><li><strong>Significance:<\/strong><ul><li>The declaration of Tilak \u201cSwaraj is my birthright, and I shall have it\u201d served as an inspiration for future revolutionaries during India\u2019s struggle for freedom.<\/li><li>A book \u2018Indian Unrest\u2019 written by Valentine Chirol, an English journalist stated Tilak the \u2018father of Indian unrest\u2019.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Prime minister has paid tribute to the freedom fighter and educationist Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his 100 death anniversary.
