The study has been published in the <em>Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences<\/em>,\nUSA.<\/li><li>The discovery could help in providing new\nantibiotic drugs to combat anti-bacterial resistance. Antibiotics are medicines\nused to prevent and treat bacterial infections<\/li><li>Anti-bacterial resistance is a subset of\nantimicrobial resistance (AMR). AMR is the ability of a microorganism (like\nbacteria, viruses, and some parasites) to stop an antimicrobial (such as\nantibiotics, antivirals and antimalarials) from working against it.<\/li><li>Anti-bacterial resistance has become major\nthreat to global health.
