The study has been published in the journal <em>Science.<\/em> <\/li><li>The NASA\u2019s Twin Study is a comprehensive review\nof the response of the human body to spaceflight. The study was conducted on\ntwo identical twins, one of whom spent one year in low-Earth orbit aboard the\nInternational Space Station while the other remained on earth. The study was\nconducted from 2015-2016.<\/li><li>The Twins Study has demonstrated the resilience\nand robustness of how a human body can adapt to a multitude of changes induced\nby the spaceflight environment. It has revealed that long-term space missions\nare likely to cause major changes to astronauts\u2019 metabolisms, genetics and\ncognitive performance. <\/li><li>The Twin Study is a significant step and will\nhelp guide future biomedical space research.
