The blue strips captured in photographs are far zonal winds (alternating east-west jet streams) around Jupiter that descend to a depth about 4 percent of Jupiter\u2019s radius.<\/li><li>Juno is a NASA space mission orbiting the planet Jupiter. It was launched in 2011. The principal goal of Juno is to understand the origin and evolution of Jupiter.<\/li><li>The Juno mission is the second spacecraft designed under NASA&#8217;s New Frontiers Program.
