{"id":85365,"date":"2019-10-17T16:11:31","date_gmt":"2019-10-17T10:41:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=11004"},"modified":"2019-10-17T16:11:31","modified_gmt":"2019-10-17T10:41:31","slug":"bluetonguebt-virus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/bluetonguebt-virus\/","title":{"rendered":"Bluetongue(BT) virus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Department of Animal Husbandry released two diagnostic kits developed by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under the Indian Veterinary Research Institute.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the diagnostic kits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The diagnostic kits developed are Bluetongue sandwich ELISA(sELISA) and the Japanese Encephalitis lgM ELISA kit for the control of Swine and Detection of AntigenELISA.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Bluetongue virus:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is an insect-transmitted viral disease of domestic and wild ruminants that includes the camelid species.<\/li><li>The disease is widespread among the sheep, goats, cattle, buffaloes and camels in the country.<\/li><li>Bluetongue Virus can be controlled with the vaccination of susceptible animals, vector control and quarantine of infected animals with the good management practices.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Japanese Encephalitis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Japanese encephalitis is caused by Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV).&nbsp;<\/li><li>JEV is a mosquito-borne flavivirus and belongs to the same genus as dengue, yellow fever and West Nile viruses.<\/li><li>The first case of Japanese encephalitis viral disease(JE) was documented in 1871 in Japan.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:Department of Animal Husbandry released two diagnostic kits developed by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under the Indian Veterinary Research Institute.
