It is used to efficiently identify and track objects and people.<\/li><li>Barcode was co-developed by George Laurier and Norman Joseph Woodland in 1973.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Types of Barcode:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One-dimensional barcode:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;Numeric-only barcodes: barcodes consisting of only numbers.<\/li><li>Alpha-numeric barcodes: contain a combination of numbers and alphabetic characters.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Two-dimensional Barcode<\/strong>: It is in the shape of a square or rectangle and contains many small dots arranged in a unique pattern.
