{"id":85439,"date":"2020-01-14T02:15:37","date_gmt":"2020-01-13T20:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=12955"},"modified":"2020-01-14T02:15:37","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T20:45:37","slug":"rajasthan-to-get-first-biotech-park-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/rajasthan-to-get-first-biotech-park-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"Rajasthan to get first biotech park soon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Rajasthan will soon get its first biotechnology park and incubation centre as memorandum of understanding will be signed with the Centre\u2019s Department of Biotechnology.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Biotech Park in Rajasthan:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Biotech park and incubation centre is expected to enable the State government to take up research in the field of biotechnology and provide employment to the youths.<\/li><li>It would help to promote interdisciplinary fields such as bioinformatics, biomedical engineering and nanomedicine<\/li><li>Further,it also has the significance of science-based manufacturing in industrialisation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Biotech Park:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Department of Biotechnology has established Biotechnology Parks\/Incubators across the country to translate research into products and services by providing the necessary infrastructure support.&nbsp;<\/li><li>These Parks offer facilities to Scientists and Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) for technology incubation, technology demonstration and pilot plant studies for accelerated commercial development of Biotechnology.<\/li><li>It also assists new enterprises to forge appropriate linkages with other stakeholders of biotechnology sector including academia and Government.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National Biotechnology Parks Scheme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Department of Biotechnology has also launched the \u2018National Biotechnology Parks Scheme\u2019.<\/li><li>The scheme aims to create an ecosystem to absorb the start-ups which have graduated from incubators and give them a platform for further scaling up their R&amp;D activities in collaboration with the state government and industry.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:Rajasthan will soon get its first biotechnology park and incubation centre as memorandum of understanding will be signed with the Centre\u2019s Department of Biotechnology.
