The solar wind carries with it a solar magnetic field, called an Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF).<\/li>\r\n<li>The interaction of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) with Earth&#8217;s magnetic field results in the formation of Earth\u2019s magnetosphere.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Different regions:<\/strong> 1) Bow shock, 2) Magnetosheath, 3) Magnetopause, 4), Magnetotail, 5) Plasmasphere, 6) Solar wind.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/1wHz_pYAElT4bN5LU7o4ymIx-fs4BYV5qvnIuZwF1gLcmUNyAdIZUfSUhLdq3SckXR5Gddpe4x4joi1ZpIYqzJF5pYw1m7KhEnEf65FDoi8kBP6L1JCebAHBPWq6GGKDaMr-EUtr\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Significance of the new study:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The plasma in the earth\u2019s magnetosphere can hamper the working of the satellites in the region.
