{"id":85568,"date":"2020-06-01T16:21:35","date_gmt":"2020-06-01T10:51:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=15729"},"modified":"2020-06-01T16:21:35","modified_gmt":"2020-06-01T10:51:35","slug":"it-minister-launches-national-ai-portal-of-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/it-minister-launches-national-ai-portal-of-india\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Minister Launches National AI Portal of India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong> Union Minister for Electronics and IT has launched India\u2019s National Artificial Intelligence(AI) Portal called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ai.gov.in\/\">www.ai.gov.in<\/a> and National Program for the youth called \u201cResponsible AI for Youth\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National Artificial Intelligence(AI) Portal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Bodies Involved: <\/strong>It has been jointly developed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT and IT Industry.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics and IT and NASSCOM from the IT industry will jointly run this portal.<\/li><li><strong>Purpose: <\/strong>To<strong> <\/strong>work as a one stop platform for AI related developments in India, sharing of resources such as articles, investment funds in AI, resources, companies and educational institutions related to AI in India.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsible AI for Youth Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Objective<\/strong>: To empower the youth to become Artificial Intelligence(AI) ready and help reduce the skill gap while enabling youth to create meaningful social impact solutions.<\/li><li><strong>Bodies involved:<\/strong> It has been created by the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics &amp; IT in collaboration with Intel India with support from Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSE&amp;L), Ministry of HRD.<\/li><li><strong>Coverage<\/strong>: The Programme is open to students of classes 8 &#8211; 12 from Central and State government-run schools (including KVS, NVS, JNV) from across the country.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Union Minister for Electronics and IT has launched India\u2019s National Artificial Intelligence(AI) Portal called www.ai.gov.in and National Program for the youth called \u201cResponsible AI for Youth\u201d.
