The State government had sought the help of the Air Force\nto put out the fire at Attappadi, Agali and Bhavani forest ranges.<\/li><li>Malleswara peak is the highest peak in the\nAttappadi Reserve Forest. Attappadi is a mountain valley at the headwaters of\nBhavani River-a tributary of Kaveri River. <\/li><li>The Bhavani forest ranges is a prat of the\nbuffer zone of Silent valley national park. Silent Valley in Kerala was\ndeclared as National Park in 1984. It is located in the South-western corner of\nNilgiris.
