{"id":86187,"date":"2019-08-04T13:06:00","date_gmt":"2019-08-04T07:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=8820"},"modified":"2019-08-04T13:06:00","modified_gmt":"2019-08-04T07:36:00","slug":"sankalp-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/sankalp-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"SANKALP Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Union Minister of Skill Development &amp; Entrepreneurship has reviewed the Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP).<\/li><li>SANKALP is an outcome-oriented programme of Ministry of Skills Development &amp; Entrepreneurship(MSDE) with a special focus on decentralised planning and quality improvement.<\/li><li>The project is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme and is implemented in mission mode through World Bank support.<\/li><li>The project aims to implement the mandate of the National Skill Development Mission(NSDM).<\/li><li>The main objectives of SANKALP include (a)Institutional Strengthening (at National, State &amp; District level) (b) Quality Assurance of skill development programs (c) Inclusion of marginalised population in skill development and (d) Expanding Skills through Public Private Partnerships(PPPs).<\/li><li>Further,a robust IT system namely \u201cSkill India Portal\u201d has also been developed under SANKALP to capture and converge skill data.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Minister of Skill Development &amp; Entrepreneurship has reviewed the Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP).
