Aerated drink manufacturers shall not be under the composition scheme anymore.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About GST Council:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Goods &amp; Services Tax(GST) Council is a constitutional body for making recommendations to the Union and State Government on issues related to Goods and Service Tax.<\/li><li>As per Article 279A (1) of the constitution, the GST Council was constituted by the President.<\/li><li>The council consists of the following members: (a) The Union Finance Minister is the Chairperson (b) The Union Minister of State in-charge of Revenue of finance and (c) The Minister In-charge of finance or taxation or any other Minister nominated by each State Government.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/oowaFtEoxawyPPTQTYcYYSz_l7iTI_h0qzhZKtG8lC_fKfaABgRn1BocyoL6KuhVvalCzC2C1nVeqEDrSc-8O8phA2rzpN2YX02RIBmCMxr-52AFRtPrtOXAsQlDgiovqES4m2Ao\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:The 37th Goods &amp; Services Tax(GST) Council meeting was held on 20th September 2019.
