There\nhas also been a decline of tiger population in Mizoram and Odisha.<\/li><li>Pench\nTiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest number of tigers. Sathyamangalam\nTiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu registered the \u201cmaximum improvement\u201d since 2014.<\/li><li>No\ntigers were found in Buxa (West Bengal), Dampa (Mizoram)\u2003and Palamau\n(Jharkhand)<\/li><li>Currently\nIndia has over 80% of the global tiger population which stands at 3,159.<\/li><li>&nbsp;Tiger is listed as Endangered in the IUCN Red\nList.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the recently released 4th Tiger Census data, India has 2,967 tigers.
