{"id":86480,"date":"2020-02-29T15:55:04","date_gmt":"2020-02-29T10:25:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=13995"},"modified":"2020-02-29T15:55:04","modified_gmt":"2020-02-29T10:25:04","slug":"meeting-held-to-review-msme-key-schemes-generating-employment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/meeting-held-to-review-msme-key-schemes-generating-employment\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting held to review MSME key Schemes Generating Employment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>The Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) held a meeting to review some of the key schemes such as Prime Minister\u2019s Employment Generation Programme(PMEGP) and Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises(CGTMSE).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About PMEGP:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is a credit-linked subsidy scheme launched in 2008-09 by the Ministry of MSME.<\/li><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To promote self-employment through setting up of micro-enterprises where subsidy up to 35% is provided by the Government through Ministry of MSME for loans up to \u20b925 lakhs in manufacturing and \u20b910 lakhs in the service sector.<\/li><li><strong>Implementation:<\/strong>Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) at the national level.At the State level,the Scheme is implemented through State Khadi and Village Industries Commission Directorates among others.<\/li><li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong>Any individual above 18 years of age, Self Help Groups, Institutions registered under Societies Registration Act 1860, Production Co-operative Societies and Charitable Trusts are eligible.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About CGTMSE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Launched in 2000 by the Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).<\/li><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To make available collateral-free credit to the micro and small enterprise sector.<\/li><li>Both the existing and the new enterprises are eligible to be covered under the scheme.<\/li><li>The Ministry of MSME and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) established a trust named Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises(CGTMSE) to implement the CGS.<\/li><li>The corpus of CGTMSE is being contributed by the GoI and SIDBI in the ratio of 4:1 respectively.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:The Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) held a meeting to review some of the key schemes such as Prime Minister\u2019s Employment Generation Programme(PMEGP) and Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises(CGTMSE).
