It provides consumer knowledge about the energy efficiency of appliances through a star rating.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;<strong>Energy Conservation Building Codes (ECBC): <\/strong>It was launched by the Ministry of Power in 2007.<strong> <\/strong>It sets minimum energy standards for new commercial buildings.<\/li><li><strong>National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency<\/strong> (NMEEE): It is one of the eight missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC). It aims to strengthen the market for energy efficiency by creating a conducive regulatory and policy regime.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Perform Achieve and Trade Scheme (PAT)<\/strong>:&nbsp; The scheme provides the option to trade any additional certified energy savings with other designated consumers to comply with the Specific Energy Consumption reduction targets.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Bachat Lamp Yojana (BLY):<\/strong> It is a PPP program comprising of BEE, Distribution Companies (DISCOMs) and private investors.
