The cruise will take the Kolkata-Sunderbans route and, via\nprotocol route and reach Bangladesh.<\/li><li>Protocol routes are defined maritime\nnavigational routes agreed upon by two countries through bilateral treaties.<\/li><li>In 2018, India and Bangladesh had had finalised Standard\nOperating Procedure SOP for movement of passengers and cruise vessels on inland\nprotocol route and coastal shipping routes to enable river cruise services\nbetween Kolkata-Dhaka-Guwahati-Jorhat and back.<\/li><li>In 1972, India and Bangladesh had signed the\nProtocol on Inland Water Transit and Trade (PIWTT).It is an agreement between\nthe two governments for the transportation of goods and keeping their\nrespective waterways navigable, while providing infrastructure facilities<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A regular river cruise will begin from 29th March between Kolkata and Dhaka.
