Mozambique been reeling under widespread flooding\nand devastation after a tropical cyclone named Idai struck the nation in mid-March.\nHADR operations seek to provide immediate succour and relief to the disaster\naffected population<\/li><li>In response to a request from the Mozambique\ngovernment, the Indian government, has had launched a HADR operation near Port\nBeira in Mozambique. Three Indian Naval Ships viz. INS Sujatha, INS Shardul\n&amp; INS Sarathi have already been deployed to Beira to help in search and\nrescue, provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.<\/li><li>INS Magar is an amphibious warfare vessel of the\nIndian Navy. The ship to Mozambique is also carrying a naval Chetak Light\nUtility helicopter.
