PM Modi has received the award in appreciation of\nhis efforts in maintaining strategic ties with UAE.<\/li><li>UAE-India relations got momentum after Prime\nMinister Modi paid a visit to the nation in 2015. The Crown Prince visited\nIndia in 2017 as the Chief Guest for Republic Day celebrations. In 2018, Indian\nPrime minister had again visited UAE.<\/li><li>India-UAE commercial relations are centred on energy\ncooperation, trade, investments by UAE in India and investments &amp;\nbusinesses driven by Indian expatriates in UAE. UAE accounts for 8% of India&#8217;s\noil imports and is the 5<sup>th<\/sup> largest supplier of crude oil to India. <\/li><li>India-UAE trade stood at about USD 50 billion in\n2017, making India the second largest trading partner of UAE. UAE is India&#8217;s\nthird largest trading partner.<\/li><li>UAE is also a member of International Solar\nAlliance- a common platform for cooperation among sun-rich countries initiated\nby India and France in 2015.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere are also speculations that there would be\na \u201chigh level representation\u201d from India for a foundation laying ceremony for\nAbu Dhabi\u2019s (capital of UAE) first Hindu temple on April 20<sup>th<\/sup> 2019. The\ntemple is being built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, a Gujarat based\ninternational spiritual organisation.
