{"id":88036,"date":"2019-09-18T15:46:58","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T10:16:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=10226"},"modified":"2019-09-18T15:46:58","modified_gmt":"2019-09-18T10:16:58","slug":"sitmex-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/sitmex-19\/","title":{"rendered":"SITMEX-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>A maiden trilateral exercise involving the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), Royal Thailand Navy(RTN) and Indian Navy(IN) has commenced at Port Blair.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the exercise:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The maritime exercise is a five-day-long exercise.<\/li><li>The exercise is aimed at bolstering the maritime inter-relationships amongst India, Singapore and Thailand and contribute significantly to enhancing the overall maritime security in the region.<\/li><li>The exercise would also strengthen the mutual confidence amongst three navies in terms of interoperability and development of a common understanding of procedures.<\/li><li>The ships that are participating from the Indian side are (a)Ranvir- a Guided Missile Destroyer (b)Kora- a missile corvette (c)Sukanya- an Offshore Patrol Vessel and (d)P8I- Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance aircraft.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Exercise SIMBEX<\/strong>&#8211; It is a bilateral naval exercise between Indian Navy and the Republic of Singapore Navy.<\/li><li><strong>Exercise Maitree- <\/strong>It is a bilateral military exercise between India and Thailand.The Exercise MAITREE-2019 is being held at Foreign Training Node, Meghalaya from 16-29 Sep 2019.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:A maiden trilateral exercise involving the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), Royal Thailand Navy(RTN) and Indian Navy(IN) has commenced at Port Blair.
