{"id":88126,"date":"2019-11-19T16:17:45","date_gmt":"2019-11-19T10:47:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=11710"},"modified":"2019-11-19T16:17:45","modified_gmt":"2019-11-19T10:47:45","slug":"exercise-zair-al-bahr-joint-exercise-between-the-qatar-and-indian-navy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/exercise-zair-al-bahr-joint-exercise-between-the-qatar-and-indian-navy\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Za\u2019ir-Al-Bahr-Joint Exercise between the Qatar and Indian Navy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>The maiden bilateral maritime exercise between the Qatari Naval Forces and Indian Navy named Za\u2019ir-Al-Bahr (Roar of the sea) has started.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the exercise:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The exercise aims to strengthen the cooperation and enhance interoperability between the two navies.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The exercise will include a Harbour Phase and Sea Phase.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The activities during the harbour phase will include a seminar, professional interaction, official visits, sports fixtures along with social and cultural events.<\/li><li>The sea phase will include a Tactical Maritime Exercise involving the domains of surface action, air defence, maritime surveillance and interdiction and anti-terrorism operations.<\/li><li>The exercise will be attended by Indian Navy Guided Missile Stealth Frigate INS Trikand and Patrol Aircraft P8-I.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About INS Trikand:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>INS Trikand is one of the frontline frigates of the Indian Navy.It is equipped with a versatile range of weapons and sensors.<\/li><li>The ship is part of the Indian Navy\u2019s Western Fleet and is under the Western Naval Command based in Mumbai.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About P8-I:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The P-8I is a long-range anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft capable of broad-area, maritime and littoral operations.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The P-8I is a variant of the P-8A Poseidon that Boeing had developed for the U.S. Navy.The Indian Navy is the first international customer for the P-8.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:The maiden bilateral maritime exercise between the Qatari Naval Forces and Indian Navy named Za\u2019ir-Al-Bahr (Roar of the sea) has started.
