{"id":88307,"date":"2020-04-25T02:31:22","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T21:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=15044"},"modified":"2020-04-25T02:31:22","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T21:01:22","slug":"international-delegates-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/international-delegates-day\/","title":{"rendered":"International Delegate\u2019s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>International Delegate&#8217;s Day is being observed for the first time on 25th&nbsp; April,2020 by the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>To raise awareness of the role of the representatives and delegates of the Member States to the United Nations.<\/li><li>The day also marks the anniversary of the San Francisco Conference which is also known as the United Nations Conference on International Organization.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>San Francisco Conference:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In 1945, delegates from fifty countries came together in San Francisco to set up an organization that would restore world peace and impose rules on the post-war world order.<\/li><li>This resulted in the creation of the United Nations Charter which was signed by representatives of the 50 countries that attended the conference.<\/li><li>Poland, which did not have a government at the time of the conference, signed the charter later, hence bringing up the number of the Founding Member States to 51.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:International Delegate&#8217;s Day is being observed for the first time on 25th&nbsp; April,2020 by the United Nations.
