The 1320 km\nlong Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway is expected to be developed&nbsp;by 2022.<\/li><li>The Expressway aims to decongest the congested Delhi-Mumbai\nnational corridor or NH-8 section of the Golden Quadrilateral. Golden\nQuadrilateral is a network of highways connecting four big metropolitan cities\nof India viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, thereby, forming a\nquadrilateral. The project was launched in 2001 as part of National\nHighways Development Project (NHDP). National Highways Development Programme\n(NHDP) was launched in 1998 with the objective of developing roads of\ninternational standards which facilitate smooth flow of traffic. It is implemented by National Highways\nAuthority of India (NHAI),<\/li><li>The Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway is expected\nto reduce the distance between Delhi and Mumbai by 150 km.
