  2. The internship programme aims to strengthen the people\u2019s\nmovement (Jan andolan) aspect of Swachh Bharat Mission. It seeks to engage\neducated youth in cleanliness drive, develop their skill and orientation for\nsanitation related work and amplify mass awareness on cleanliness.<\/li>
  3. Under the terms of the Internship, candidates\nwould be required to undertake 50 hours of internship activities. The\nactivities include a) education and communication activities such as awareness\nprogrammes, b) Solid Waste Management related activities such as clean-up\ndrives and activities like waste collection, segregation, developing compost\npits and c) creation of sanitation infrastructure, system building.<\/li>
