{"id":89265,"date":"2019-09-19T16:55:35","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T11:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=10251"},"modified":"2019-09-19T16:55:35","modified_gmt":"2019-09-19T11:25:35","slug":"national-recruitment-agency-nra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-recruitment-agency-nra\/","title":{"rendered":"National Recruitment Agency (NRA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>A new National Recruitment Agency(NRA) will be set up to streamline recruitment process on subordinate-rank posts in the government.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the NRA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The proposal new agency is meant to streamline the recruitment process on subordinate-rank posts in the government.<\/li><li>It will also reduce the burden of the Staff Selection Commission(SSC) and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) from holding preliminary recruitment exams which is an extensive exercise.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Once set up, NRA will work as a preliminary single-window agency to shortlist qualifying candidates from the bulk of applicants and forward the list to SSC, IBPS to hold the mains.<\/li><li>However, the proposed agency will not be in charge of recruitment of Probationary Officers(PO) in banks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Staff Selection Commission(SSC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Staff Selection Commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training.<\/li><li>It was constituted as the Subordinate Services Commission in 1975 which was subsequently re-designated as Staff Selection Commission in 1977.<\/li><li>SSC makes recruitment to various Group \u201cB\u201d and Group \u201cC\u201d posts in the various Ministries\/Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>IBPS is an autonomous body that is mainly engaged in conducting competitive exams for recruitment to clerical and officers&#8217; posts in the banking sector.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:A new National Recruitment Agency(NRA) will be set up to streamline recruitment process on subordinate-rank posts in the government.
