{"id":89283,"date":"2019-10-05T17:37:37","date_gmt":"2019-10-05T12:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=10671"},"modified":"2019-10-05T17:37:37","modified_gmt":"2019-10-05T12:07:37","slug":"him-vijay-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/him-vijay-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Him Vijay Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong> China has\nraised strong objection to the ongoing Him Vijay military exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Exercise Him Vijay is taking place in October, 2019\nin Arunachal Pradesh. <\/li><li>The exercise is to test mobility, communication\nand coordination of such huge body of fast-moving troops in difficult terrain.<\/li><li>It is first time the integrated battle groups (IBGs)\nis taking part in an exercise<\/li><li>Three mountain IBGs carved out of Panagarh-based\n17 Corps\u2019 (Mountain Strike Corps) 59 <strong>Mountain\nDivision is taking part in the exercise.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional\nInformation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Integrated\nBattle groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>IBGs are brigade-sized, agile, self-sufficient\ncombat formations which can swiftly launch strikes against adversary in case of\nhostilities.<\/li><li>Each IBG is tailor-made based on Threat, Terrain\nand Task and resources will be allotted based on the three Ts.<\/li><li>The IBGs are defensive and offensive. The\noffensive IBGs &nbsp;are trained to quickly\nmobilise and make thrust into enemy territory for strikes, <\/li><li>On the other hand, the defensive IBGs are\ntrained to hold ground at vulnerable points or where enemy action is expected.<\/li><li>Integrated Battle Groups both on the Western and\nNorthern borders have been created for quicker and formidable launch of attack\non enemy.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: China has raised strong objection to the ongoing Him Vijay military exercise.
