{"id":89437,"date":"2020-03-20T18:01:10","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T12:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=14370"},"modified":"2020-03-20T18:01:10","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T12:31:10","slug":"national-commission-for-indian-system-of-medicine-bill-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-commission-for-indian-system-of-medicine-bill-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Bill 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News<\/strong>: Rajya Sabha has passed the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Bill 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Bill 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It seeks to repeal the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970<\/li><li><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><ul><li>To ensure availability of adequate and high quality medical professionals of Indian System of Medicine,&nbsp;<\/li><li>To ensure adoption of the latest medical research by medical professionals of Indian System of Medicine,&nbsp;<\/li><li>To ensure periodic assessment of medical institutions,&nbsp;<\/li><li>To ensure an effective grievance redressal mechanism.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It provides for the establishment of the <strong>National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)<\/strong>.
