They have argued that this would increase voter\nconfidence and make the electoral process more transparent.<\/li><li>However, the Election Commission had objected\nthe opposition parties\u2019 demand and argued before the SC that increasing VVPAT\nverification to 50% would delay Low Sabha election results 5.2 days.<\/li><li>Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) is an\nindependent system attached to an EVM that allows the voters to verify that\ntheir votes are cast as intended.
