The SC is of the opinion\nthat it is too early to intervene as the Central Board of Film Certification has\nnot yet certified the film.<\/li><li>Supreme Court\u2019s observations comes in the\nbackdrop of a petition filed by opposition party which had accused the film to\nbe in violation with the model code of conduct. The scheduled release of the film\nduring upcoming Lok Sabha Elections has generated widespread debate with\nopposition political parties alleging that it is a \u201cpropaganda film\u201d.<\/li><li>Previously, the Central Board of Film\nCertification (CBFC) had sought directions from Election Commission on how it\nshould certify political films when the Model Code is in effect.
