It has also restricted schools from\nassigning homework to students of classes I and II, except in subjects\nrecommended by CBSE, ICSE or the state board.<\/li><li>Meghalaya government\u2019s orders are in line with the\ndirectives of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). In 2018, the MHRD\nhad directed states to formulate guidelines to rationalize class time-tables\nand regulate weight of school bags.
