Under the phase\nII Programme Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for the residential sector has\nbeen restructured. Further, focus will be on increased involvement of DISCOMs\nand performance based incentives will be provided to them. <\/li><li>The Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme aims\nto achieve a cumulative capacity of 40,000 MW\/40GW from rooftop solar projects\nby 2022. The program encourages installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic\npower generation plant for self-consumption as well as supply\/sale of\nelectricity to the grid. <\/li><li>The Indian government has set a growth target of installation of 175 GW\naggregate capacity of renewable energy by 2022.Out of total 175 GW, target of\n100 GW has been set for Solar Power.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved Phase-II of the Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme (GCRSP).
