The\nNational Informatics Centre (NIC) would configure the setup which would be\noffered to all citizens Domain Name System (DNS).<\/li><li>Domain Name System translates human readable\ndomain names (for example, www.google.com) to machine readable IP addresses\n(for example, 192.0.2.44). A domain name server is a computer that houses DNS\nzones of domain names.<\/li><li>India\u2019s Public Domain Name Server would ensure\na) fast access, b) enhanced availability, c) secure access, d) maintain data privacy,\nand e) data localization within India.
