  1. PM\nModi, during his 2 day visit to Gujarat, is scheduled to launch \u201cOne Nation one\nCard\u201d. \u201cThe One Nation one Card\u201d policy was announced by NITI Aayog at the Future\nMobility Summit-2018-India’s Move to NextGen Transport Systems\u201d in November\n2018.<\/li>
  2. The\n\u201cOne Nation One Card\u201d seeks to provide seamless connectivity between various\nmodes of transport. It is a single card which can be used for paying for travel\non any mode of transportation.<\/li>
  3. Further,\nall new credit and debit cards issued by most banks have the National Common\nMobility Card feature to make payments for their travel. The \u201cone nation one\ncard\u201d along with this feature in debit and credit cards would enable people to\nuse them either in PoS machines deployed at ticket counters or use them like Metro\nrail smart cards.<\/li>
  4. Ministry\nof Urban Development introduced the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) model\nto enable seamless travel by different metros and other transport systems\nacross India besides retail shopping and purchases. National Payment\nCorporation of India (NPCI) was entrusted to prepare the standards &\nspecifications of the NCMC. <\/li>
