The scheme\nwas announced in the interim budget 2019.<\/li><li>Under the scheme, an assured monthly pension of\nRs. 3000 rupees per month will be provided to workers in the unorganised sector\nafter 60 years of age.<\/li><li>An unorganised sector worker whose monthly\nincome is Rs 15,000\/ per month or less and belong to the entry age group of\n18-40 years are eligible for the scheme.<\/li><li>To avail the scheme, workers have to contribute\nan amount ranging from \u20b955 to \u20b9100 each month, depending on their age, at the\ntime of joining the scheme. The contribution is to be made through \u2018auto-debit\u2019\nfacility from the beneficiary\u2019s savings bank account or Jan- Dhan account. The\nGovernment will deposit equal matching share in the account of the worker every\nmonth.<\/li><li>During the receipt of pension, if the beneficiary\ndies, the spouse of the beneficiary will be entitled to receive 50% of the\npension received by the beneficiary as family pension. This family pension is\napplicable only to the spouse of the beneficiary.
