It is a fully-funded pilgrimage trip for senior\ncitizens by the state government.<\/li><li>Under the scheme, the government will bear the\nentire expenditure for all \u2018yatris\u2019, including air conditioned train travel,\naccommodation, meals, boarding and lodging and other arrangements.<\/li><li>1,100 senior citizens from each Assembly\nConstituency per year will be able to undertake free pilgrimages.<\/li><li>It is estimated that on an average the scheme\nwill incur a cost of Rs 7,000 per pilgrim. The pilgrimage duration will be of\nthree days and two nights.<\/li><li>Any resident of Delhi above 60 years of age will\nbe eligible for the scheme. The applicant should not have an income of above Rs\n3 lakh\/ annum and should not be an employee of Central\/state\/local government\nor autonomous bodies.<\/li><li>The pilgrimage can be undertaken on the circuits\nof a) Delhi-Mathura-Vrindavan-Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Delhi; b)Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh-Neelkanth-Delhi;\nc) Delhi-Ajmer-Pushkar-Delhi; d) Delhi-Amritsar-Wagah border-Anandpur\nSahib-Delhi; and e) Delhi-Vaishno Devi-Jammu-Delhi.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Delhi government\u2019s Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana has been launched.
