The campaign aims\nat generating greater public participation towards Swachhta (cleanliness)<\/li><li>Swachh Bharat Mission is a cleanliness campaign\ninitiated by Govt. of India in 2014. It seeks to achieve a Clean India by 2019,\nas a fitting tribute to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.<\/li><li>Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) aims to improve\nthe levels of cleanliness in rural areas through Solid and Liquid Waste\nManagement activities and making villages Open Defecation Free (ODF) and clean.<\/li><li>Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) aims at elimination\nof open defecation, conversion of unsanitary toilets to pour flush toilets,\neradication of manual scavenging, municipal solid waste management and bringing\nabout a behavioural change in people regarding healthy sanitation practices.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the monthly radio address, \u201cMan ki baat\u201d, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to start a new revolution against plastic from 2 October, 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
