{"id":90150,"date":"2019-10-13T18:14:03","date_gmt":"2019-10-13T12:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=10906"},"modified":"2019-10-13T18:14:03","modified_gmt":"2019-10-13T12:44:03","slug":"saras-aajeevika-mela","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/saras-aajeevika-mela\/","title":{"rendered":"SARAS Aajeevika Mela"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News: <\/strong>Ministry of Rural Development is organising SARAS Aajeevika Mela at India Gate Lawns from 10th October to 23rd October, 2019.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Saras Aajeevika Mela:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SARAS Aajeevika Mela is an initiative under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana \u2013 National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY \u2013 NRLM).&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Mela is organised by Council for Advancement of People\u2019s Action and Rural Technology(CAPART),the marketing arm of the Ministry of Rural development.<\/li><li>The objective of the initiative is to bring the rural women SHGs \u2013 Self Help Groups under one platform.&nbsp;<\/li><li>This is to help them showcase their skills, sell their products and build linkages with buyers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About National Rural Livelihoods Mission(NRLM):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana -National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) was launched by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India in 2011.<\/li><li>The objective of the Mission is to promote sustainable livelihoods for the poor such that they come out of poverty.<\/li><li>The institutions of the poor are intended to facilitate (a) access to formal credit (b) support for diversification and strengthening of livelihoods and (c) access to entitlements and public services.<\/li><li>The mission is aided in part through investment support by the World Bank.<\/li><li>The mission has set out with an agenda to cover 7 Crore rural poor households through self-managed Self Help Groups(SHGs) and federated institutions and support them for livelihoods collectives in a period of 8-10 years.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Ministry of Rural Development is organising SARAS Aajeevika Mela at India Gate Lawns from 10th October to 23rd October, 2019.
