{"id":90181,"date":"2019-11-21T16:27:24","date_gmt":"2019-11-21T10:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=11776"},"modified":"2019-11-21T16:27:24","modified_gmt":"2019-11-21T10:57:24","slug":"rashtriya-rail-sanrakshan-kosh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/rashtriya-rail-sanrakshan-kosh\/","title":{"rendered":"Rashtriya Rail Sanrakshan Kosh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Minister of Railways has informed the Lok Sabha about the Rashtriya Rail Sanrakshan kosh.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Rashtriya Rail Sanrakshan kosh:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rashtriya Rail Sanraksha Rosh(RRSK) is a dedicated fund for critical safety-related works of the Indian Railways.<\/li><li>The fund was announced in the Budget 2017-18.The special safety fund has a corpus of more than Rs. 1 lakh crore over a period of five years.<\/li><li>The Finance Ministry would contribute Rs. 15,000 crore annually towards the fund while the Ministry of Railways would fund the balance Rs. 5,000 crore every year.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Significance of the fund:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The fund has helped Indian Railways to accomplish zero-accident mission by strengthening the safety measures on the rail network in a comprehensive way.<\/li><li>Under this fund,envisaged works like track renewal and upgradation, bridge rehabilitation, elimination of level-crossings, construction of road over bridges\/road under bridges have been undertaken.<\/li><li>It has also been used for replacement and improvement of signalling system, improvement and upgradation of rolling stock, replacement of electrical assets and human resource development.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:Minister of Railways has informed the Lok Sabha about the Rashtriya Rail Sanrakshan kosh.
