{"id":90219,"date":"2019-12-11T17:14:01","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T11:44:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=12301"},"modified":"2019-12-11T17:14:01","modified_gmt":"2019-12-11T11:44:01","slug":"rashtriya-vayoshri-yojana-for-disabled-persons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/rashtriya-vayoshri-yojana-for-disabled-persons\/","title":{"rendered":"Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana for Disabled Persons"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>&nbsp; Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment informed Lok Sabha about Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;It was launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in 2017.<\/li><li>It is a scheme for providing Physical Aids and Assisted-living Devices for Senior citizens belonging to the BPL category.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The beneficiaries under the scheme are identified through Assessment Camps organized in collaboration with the respective State Government\/District Administration.<\/li><li>Under the Scheme, assisted living devices such as Walking Sticks, Elbow Crutches, Walkers\/ Crutches, Hearing Aids, Wheelchairs, Spectacles, etc. are provided free of cost to the beneficiary senior citizens.<\/li><li>The devices are distributed in Distribution Camps organized in the selected districts.
