{"id":90435,"date":"2020-01-26T15:19:49","date_gmt":"2020-01-26T09:49:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=13248"},"modified":"2020-01-26T15:19:49","modified_gmt":"2020-01-26T09:49:49","slug":"nishthanational-initiative-for-school-heads-and-teachers-holistic-advancement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/nishthanational-initiative-for-school-heads-and-teachers-holistic-advancement\/","title":{"rendered":"NISHTHA:National Initiative for School Heads&#8217; and Teachers&#8217; Holistic Advancement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Union Minister of Human Resource Development has inaugurated NISHTHA programme for the teachers of Jammu and Kashmir.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About NISHTHA Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>NISHTHA is a capacity building programme for improving the quality of School Education through Integrated Teacher Training.<\/li><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To train teachers and school principals at the elementary stage so that they can encourage and foster critical thinking in students.<\/li><li>The training will be conducted by Key Resource Persons(KRPs) and State Resource Persons (SRP) identified by the State and UTs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coverage:<\/strong>The programme aims to build the capacities of around 42 lakh participants covering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>all teachers and heads of elementary Government schools&nbsp;<\/li><li>faculty members of State Councils of Educational Research and Training(SCERTs) and District Institutes of Education and Training(DIETs) and&nbsp;<\/li><li>Block Resource Coordinators and Cluster Resource Coordinators in all States and UTs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expected outcomes of the programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Improvement in learning outcomes of the students.<\/li><li>Teachers are trained to use Art as pedagogy leading to increased creativity and innovation among students.<\/li><li>Integration of ICT in teaching learning and assessment.<\/li><li>Transformation of the Heads of Schools into providing academic and administrative leadership for the schools for fostering new initiatives among others.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:Union Minister of Human Resource Development has inaugurated NISHTHA programme for the teachers of Jammu and Kashmir.
