{"id":90469,"date":"2020-02-28T15:12:58","date_gmt":"2020-02-28T09:42:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=13985"},"modified":"2020-02-28T15:12:58","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T09:42:58","slug":"niti-aayog-aim-and-nasscom-launch-ai-based-module-for-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/niti-aayog-aim-and-nasscom-launch-ai-based-module-for-students\/","title":{"rendered":"NITI Aayog, AIM and NASSCOM launch AI-based Module for students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>NITI Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) in collaboration with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has launched an AI-based Module rolled out for students in Indian schools.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the AI-based module:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To leverage the full potential of AIM&#8217;s Atal Tinkering Lab(ATL) and further empowers them to innovate and create valuable solutions benefiting societies at large.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Under this,artificial intelligence-based modules will be implemented across 5000 Atal Tinkering Labs in the country.<\/li><li>The module will contain activities, videos, and experiments that enable students to work through and learn the various concepts of AI.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Atal Tinkering Labs(ATL):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Atal Tinkering labs(ATL) have been established under the Atal Innovation Mission(AIM).<\/li><li><strong>Objective:<\/strong>To<strong> <\/strong>foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.<\/li><li><strong>Funding:<\/strong>AIM will provide grant-in-aid that includes a one-time establishment cost of Rs.10 lakh and operational expenses of Rs. 10 lakh for a maximum period of 5 years to each ATL.<\/li><li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:Schools (minimum Grade VI \u2013 X) managed by Government, local body or private trusts\/society can set up ATL.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Atal innovation mission(AIM):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) was set up by NITI Aayog in 2016.<\/li><li>It aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.It also seeks to create institutions and programs that enhance innovation in schools, colleges, and entrepreneurs in general.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:NITI Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) in collaboration with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has launched an AI-based Module rolled out for students in Indian schools.
