{"id":90509,"date":"2020-04-25T02:37:25","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T21:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=15054"},"modified":"2020-04-25T02:37:25","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T21:07:25","slug":"krishi-kalyan-abhiyaan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/krishi-kalyan-abhiyaan\/","title":{"rendered":"Krishi Kalyan Abhiyaan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>The Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan(KKA) is being implemented in 112 Aspirational districts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Launched Year:<\/strong>2018<\/li><li><strong>Nodal Ministry: <\/strong>Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.<\/li><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To aid, assist and advise farmers to improve their farming techniques and increase their incomes.<\/li><li><strong>Implementation:<\/strong><ul><li>It will be implemented in 25 Villages with more than 1000 population each in Aspirational Districts identified in consultation with the Ministry of Rural Development as per directions of NITI Aayog.<\/li><li>In districts where the number of villages with more than 1000 population is less than 25, all villages will be covered.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Activities under this programme:&nbsp;<\/strong><ul><li>Distribution of Soil Health Cards to all farmers&nbsp;<\/li><li>100% coverage of bovine vaccination for Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in each village<\/li><li>100% coverage of Sheep and Goat for eradication of Peste des Petits ruminants (PPR) also known as sheep and goat plague<\/li><li>Distribution of Mini Kits of pulses and oilseeds to all<\/li><li>Distribution of Horticulture\/ Bamboo plant&nbsp;<\/li><li>Making 100 NADAP Pits in each village<\/li><li>Artificial insemination saturation<\/li><li>Demonstration programmes on Micro- irrigation<\/li><li>Demonstrations of integrated cropping practice.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aspirational Districts Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Launched Year: <\/strong>2018.<\/li><li>It is coordinated by the Niti Aayog with the support from Central Ministries and the State Governments.<\/li><li><strong>Aim<\/strong>: To transform districts that have shown relatively lesser progress in key social areas and have emerged as pockets of under-development.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:The Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan(KKA) is being implemented in 112 Aspirational districts of the country.
