{"id":90542,"date":"2020-06-03T19:48:40","date_gmt":"2020-06-03T14:18:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=15764"},"modified":"2020-06-03T19:48:40","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T14:18:40","slug":"electronics-incentive-schemes-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/electronics-incentive-schemes-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Electronics incentive schemes launched"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News: <\/strong>The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has launched three Electronics incentive schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors(SPECS):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>To help offset the disability for domestic manufacturing of electronic components and semiconductors in order to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the country.<\/li><li>Under this, the government will provide a financial incentive of 25% on capital expenditure for a list of products that constitute the supply chain of electronic products such as electronic components, semiconductor, specialized sub-assemblies.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> To develop world class electronics manufacturing infrastructure by providing support for setting up of Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and Common Facility Centres(CFCs).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Production Linked Incentive Scheme(PLI):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>To offer production linked incentive to boost domestic manufacturing and attract large investments in mobile phone manufacturing and specified electronic components.<\/li><li>Under this, the government will provide an incentive of 4% to 6% on goods manufactured in India and covered under target segments to eligible companies for a period of five years.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has launched three Electronics incentive schemes.
