{"id":90573,"date":"2020-07-01T12:21:25","date_gmt":"2020-07-01T06:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=16166"},"modified":"2020-07-01T12:21:25","modified_gmt":"2020-07-01T06:51:25","slug":"pm-formalization-of-micro-food-processing-enterprisespm-fme-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/pm-formalization-of-micro-food-processing-enterprisespm-fme-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PM FME) scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong> Union Minister for Food Processing has launched the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PM FME) scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Type: <\/strong>Centrally Sponsored Scheme<\/li><li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>To provide financial, technical and business support for the upgradation of existing micro food processing enterprises.<\/li><li><strong>Duration<\/strong>: It will be implemented over a period of five years from 2020-21 to 2024-25.<\/li><li><strong>Funding: <\/strong>It would be shared in 60:40 ratio between Central and State Governments, in 90:10 ratio with North Eastern and Himalayan States, 60:40 ratio with UTs with legislature and 100% by Centre for other UTs.<\/li><li><strong>Features of the Scheme:<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>One District One Product (ODOP) Approach: <\/strong>The States would identify food products for districts keeping in view the existing clusters and availability of raw material.<\/li><li><strong>Other Focus Areas: <\/strong>The scheme would also focus on Waste to wealth products, minor forest products and Aspirational Districts.<\/li><li><strong>Financial Support:&nbsp;<\/strong><ul><li>Existing micro food processing units can avail credit-linked capital subsidy at 35% of the eligible project cost with a maximum ceiling of Rs.10 lakh per unit.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Seed capital at Rs.40,000\/- per SHG member would be provided for working capital and purchase of small tools.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Union Minister for Food Processing has launched the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PM FME) scheme.
