{"id":90607,"date":"2020-07-31T18:17:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-31T12:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=16650"},"modified":"2020-07-31T18:17:23","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T12:47:23","slug":"hrd-minister-launches-india-report-on-digital-education2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/hrd-minister-launches-india-report-on-digital-education2020\/","title":{"rendered":"HRD Minister launches India Report on Digital Education,2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News: <\/strong>Ministry of Human Resources and Development(MHRD) has launched India Report on Digital Education,2020.Recently,the Ministry of HRD has been renamed as Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The report has been prepared by the Digital Education Division of the Ministry of HRD in consultation with Education Departments of States and UTs.<\/li><li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>To elaborate on the innovative methods adopted by the Ministry of HRD, Education Departments of States\/UTs for ensuring education to children at home.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital Education Initiatives launched by Government:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>DIKSHA platform: <\/strong>It offers teachers, students and parents engaging learning material relevant to the prescribed school curriculum.<\/li><li><strong>VidyaDaan 2.0:<\/strong> The programme brings together academicians and organisations to develop and contribute fun and engaging e-learning content aligned to the curriculum.<ul><li>The content will be monitored by a panel of academic experts and released for use on the DIKSHA app.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Digitally Accessible Information System(DAISY): <\/strong>The study material for the differently abled has been developed on DAISY platform.<\/li><li><strong>SWAYAM<\/strong>: Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) is an integrated platform for offering online courses, covering school (9th to 12th) to Postgraduate Level.<\/li><li><strong>e-PATHSHALA<\/strong>: It is a joint initiative of Ministry of HRD and NCERT to showcase and disseminate all educational e-resources including textbooks, audio, video, periodicals and a variety of other digital resources.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Initiatives launched by States:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SMILE (Social Media Interface for Learning Engagement) in Rajasthan,&nbsp;<\/li><li>Mission Buniyaad in the State of Delhi<\/li><li>Project Home Classes in Jammu.<\/li><li>Padhai Tunhar Duvaar(Education at your doorstep) in Chhattisgarh<\/li><li>Mera Mobile Mera Vidyalaya launched by Bihar for Students among others.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Ministry of Human Resources and Development(MHRD) has launched India Report on Digital Education,2020.Recently,the Ministry of HRD has been renamed as Ministry of Education.
