{"id":90679,"date":"2020-10-02T20:02:25","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T14:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=17694"},"modified":"2020-10-02T20:02:25","modified_gmt":"2020-10-02T14:32:25","slug":"ambedkar-social-innovation-incubation-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/ambedkar-social-innovation-incubation-mission\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambedkar Social Innovation &#038; Incubation Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News<\/strong>: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched the Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission under Venture Capital Fund for SCs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To promote entrepreneurship among the SC Youth with special preference to Divyangs.<\/li><li>To support (1,000) innovative ideas till 2024 through a synergetic work with the Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) set up by the Department of Science and Technology.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Under the mission, 1,000 SC youth would be identified in the next 4 years with start-up ideas through the Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) in various higher educational institutions.<\/li><li>They will be funded Rs. 30 lakhs in 3 years as equity funding so that they can translate their start-up ideas into commercial ventures.<\/li><li>Successful ventures would further qualify for venture funding of up to Rs. 5 Crore from the Venture Capital Fund for SCs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Venture Capital Fund for SCs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It was launched in 2014-2015<\/li><li><strong>Aim<\/strong>: To develop entrepreneurship amongst the SC and Divyang youth and to enable them to become job-givers.<\/li><li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> to provide concessional finance to the entities of the SC entrepreneurs.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched the Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission under Venture Capital Fund for SCs Facts: Objective: To promote entrepreneurship among the SC Youth with special preference to Divyangs.
