It will reduce the loss of lives of both, humans and elephants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where was it launched?<\/strong> It was launched as a pilot project at four places. These places are located on the periphery of Nagarhole National Park in Karnataka.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sub Mission: <\/strong>The project has gotten launched as a sub-mission of KVIC\u2019s National Honey Mission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>National Honey Mission:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Launched by: <\/strong>Khadi and Village Industries Commission(KVIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>To provide sustainable employment and income to rural and urban unemployed youth.<\/li>\n<li>To conserve the honeybee habitat and tapping untapped natural resources.<\/li>\n<li>Moreover, to promote beekeeping for increasing crop productivity and pollination services avenue for beekeepers and farmers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1704902\"><strong>PIB<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the News?
