It is <strong>one of the most active volcanoes<\/strong> in the world.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stratovolcanoes or composite volcanoes<\/strong> are conical volcanoes. They are composed of multiple layers of intermediate to lava, ash, and other volcanic debris.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location: <\/strong>Sangay Volcano is located on the eastern edge of the Andes Mountains.\n<ul>\n<li>The Andes is the<strong> longest mountain range<\/strong> in the world. It boasts some of the highest peaks. The range is also known for its volcanoes.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Andes extend from north to south through seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance: <\/strong>Sangay Volcano hosts a significant biological community.
