This loss may be temporary or permanent.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ageusia<\/b>: It is a condition, characterized by a complete <strong>loss of taste function<\/strong> of the tongue.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About Parosmia:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, Parosmia<\/strong> is a medical term. It describes a condition in which affected individuals experience distortions in the sense of smell.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, a person with parosmia<\/strong> is able to detect certain odours. But they might experience the smell of certain things as different and often unpleasant.
